Self Control Activity Using Bubbles!

Self Control Activity Using Bubbles!
I love this! It's a great beginning of the year activity!
Have the children sit (at circle or at their desks). You will need a bottle of bubbles and a wand. Tell students you will be blowing bubbles and they may pop them – BUT only the ones that come into their ‘area’. This is the perfect opportunity to talk about personal ‘bubbles’ – as in, this is my space, this is your space. Personal boundaries. Not getting in classmate's face, space… This is a great activity for reinforcing this concept! And it’s a hard one for them to do… We revisit this activity quite often throughout the school year.

Enjoy!
