I love teaching a unit on BATS during the month of October!
One of my favorite stories to read at that time is
Stellaluna
by Janell Cannon.
To go along with that story I created a follow-up activity that includes TASK CARDS and a WORD CLOUD activity sheet.

These are great for Kindergarten thru Grade 2 and are CCS aligned.
For younger grades the task cards can be used as an oral activity in small or large groups. where children choose a card, read it/or have it read to them and then answer the questions and discuss.
The task cards can also be placed at a station or center and worked on individually or with a partner.
